The SAEON Data Portal provides access to three main public services:
Discovery of and access to data in the earth and environmental sciences domain,
Facilities for deposit and preservation of data and its publication to a variety of channels,
Components and web services that developers can use in their own systems environments to integrate with the SAEON Data Portal.
These resources are almost without exception in the public domain and available under free and open Creative Commons licenses.
